Pastor John Chiara is originally from New
Jersey where he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ at age
19. He is a graduate of
Lee University,
Cleveland, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Studies.
He received a Master of Divinity from Melodyland School of Theology
and holds the ministerial rank of Ordained Bishop in the Church of
God.
Pastor John and his wife Jeannie have been married for thirty three
years. They have two sons. J.J., 27, married to the former Jeanna
Stephens, is a graduate of Lee University and the Church of God Seminary
in Cleveland, Tennessee. They recently moved to Cleveland Georgia
where JJ is the new Mission Georgia Master's Commission Director and
part of the pastoral staff of The Bridge Church also in Cleveland.
James, age 22, graduated from Lee University this past May and has
returned to San Bruno. Pastor John and Jeannie are in their 19th year
of pastoring the San Bruno Church of God. Jeannie graduated from North
Carolina Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical
Counseling and holds a Masters degree in Church and School Administration
from Shasta Bible College. She is an ordained minister and serves
as an administrator of a Christian high school.
